When I founded Montaque Early Childhood Consulting, I kept returning to three words that held deep personal and professional meaning: Educate, Elevate, Empower. These aren’t just part of a catchy tagline. They are the foundation of how I show up for educators, programs, and families, and how I want to leave every person and space better than I found it.

Educating: Sharing Knowledge That Moves Us Forward

Education is more than curriculum or training, it’s the transfer of clarity, confidence, and care. As a consultant, I’ve learned that most early childhood professionals aren’t lacking passion. They need practical tools, timely information, and trusted guidance.

That’s why I design trainings and coaching experiences that:

  • Respect what you already know

  • Speak in plain language

  • Focus on growth, not perfection

Whether I’m working with a seasoned director or a parent launching a homeschool journey, my job is to educate without overwhelming, to offer insight that sparks action.

Elevating: Lifting Our Standards and Each Other

So many people in early childhood work quietly, tirelessly, and often without recognition. My goal is to elevate the field by spotlighting the professionalism, complexity, and heart it takes to do this work well.

Elevating means:

  • Helping leaders rise into confident decision-makers

  • Supporting teachers in refining their practice

  • Reminding families that their home is a powerful place of learning

It’s also about raising the bar for our environments, our systems, and ourselves. Every workshop, coaching session, or curriculum I create is designed to uplift, not add pressure.

Empowering: Encouraging Ownership and Courage

Empowerment isn’t just a feel-good word, it’s the outcome I care most about.

When early childhood professionals and families feel empowered, they:

  • Advocate for children’s needs

  • Trust their instincts

  • Take action with clarity

I believe that true empowerment happens when people are seen, heard, and supported. So I listen deeply, respond honestly, and walk alongside each client with respect and encouragement.

My consulting isn’t about giving answers, it’s about helping you uncover the ones that work for you.

Let’s Keep the Conversation Going:

If you’re leading a program, homeschooling a little one, or just dreaming up your next step, I’d love to be a part of your journey.  Let’s build something that educates, elevates, and empowers together.
